It works in collaboration with other regional development organisations to provide incubator services which also connects potential entrepreneurs with the range of opportunities provided by WestBIC’s specialist expertise, skills, and experience.
Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación
CEEI Bahía de Cádiz is an European Business Innovation Centre (EU|BIC), located in the province of Cadiz (South of Spain), created in 1997 by the most relevant public and private organizations in the geographical area of the Bay of Cadiz as a not for profit foundation, to promote and support innovation, entrepreneurship, business growth and employment in this area.
CEEI Bahía de Cádiz provides its services structured in four different areas: Consultancy Activities, Design and Implementation of Training Programmes, Incubation Services and Implementation of Projects, such as “ST3ER” or other National or EU Funded Projects, to provide services or opportunities to our target groups.
Razvojni Center SRCA Slovenije
Development Centre of the Heart of Slovenia (DCHS) is a sub-regional development agency established by Municipality Litija, operating in Central Sava region in the "The Heart of Slovenia”. It has been leading, coordinating and connecting development projects to enhance the quality of life in the region, especially in the fields of tourism, entrepreneurship and environment. DCHS has 20 years of experience in the development of rural areas. Its advantage is close cooperation with local stakeholders from all main sectors (public, private and NGO), knowing their needs and integration of innovative ideas and projects. In the tourism field, DCHS is strongly working towards preserving natural and cultural resources, limiting negative impacts of tourism development and managing other long-lasting indicators of sustainability.
Údaras na Gaeltachta
Údarás na Gaeltachta, is a regional development agency for the Irish-speaking districts of Ireland. The state agency is responsible for the economic, social and cultural development of these distinct regions and has a vast experience of industrial and community development, particularly in rural coastal areas including six off-shore islands on the west coast of Ireland. Údarás na Gaeltachta has strong linkages with the national tourism development agency, Fáilte Ireland and has participated in and contributed to the development of regional Visitor Experience Development Plans for several regions along the Wild Atlantic Way. The agency provides supports for nascent and developing entrepreneurs in sectors such as cultural tourism, food and craft, manufacturing, and modern services sectors and provides enterprise space, capability development, grant-aid and equity supports. Údarás has a vast experience of participating in and coordinating European projects.
University of Porto Technology Park
UPTEC is the Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto and our main goal is to support the creation and development of business projects in the arts, sciences and technologies and host national and international innovation centres. UPTEC also offers a propitious environment for innovation and the creation of companies, as it assumes itself as a valuable player in bridging the gap between the knowledge generated at the University and the market. Since 2007, UPTEC has supported more than 700 business projects, graduated 86 companies, and contributed — in 2019, only — to the direct and indirect creation of 6500 new jobs. The services offered by UPTEC aim to accelerate and systematize the process of creating successful ventures by providing them with a comprehensive and integrated range of support
